The most important part of choosing a therapist is finding someone you feel comfortable with. Choose someone who inspires you to let it all hang out. If the real you can’t show up to session, the real you won’t get the help they are longing for.

Even though your sessions are going to be mostly about you, I still have to be in the room. You might not feel comfortable telling your deepest darkest secrets to a complete stranger. So let’s hit the most important things about me. If all you really want to know are my qualifications, you can slide to the bottom of the page and check those out.
My heroes are Betty White, Dolly Parton and Wonder Woman. I love ice cream a lot. I won’t ever say no to the following questions: “Do you want to hold this puppy?” “Do you want to go with me to karaoke?” and “Would you like this box of milk duds?” In a former life, I was an improv comedian and musician. Both of those things have a way of still creeping into my current life. I’m pretty tall, but when I played basketball in high school I only scored about three points (in two years.) I like doing creative things. I really love the woods. I have a newly developed passion for pottery and keep a notebook of nice things people say to me so I can read them on a bad day.
I’m deeply passionate about helping people feel seen and understood. I will work tirelessly to understand everything going on in the room during session. I believe people were made for a great deal more than we often settle for. I work hard to try and make the world a place where we can be ourselves without being afraid of judgment, or failure. There aren’t many things I love more than watching people’s light bulb go off and see their lives start changing.
